Bought two, gave one to my grandson, who is 10. He was shooting a Rem. 243 cal. he said it felt like a 22.

Awesome recoil pad. Nice and small, but don’t let the size fool you. This is the BEST recoil reducing sleeve on the market! Trust me I’ve tried em all. I have over 150 guns and approx half are long guns (rifles and shotguns). I’ve used them all. As for a sleeve this is by far thee best. On the market and is very easy to switch from gun to gun.
‘The recoil reduction is amazing. You MUST try it.
I bought 12 of them! 3 as gifts for friends who are traveling to Argentina this summer with me on a trip for dove hunting. We will shoot a[proxy 5000+ rounds for the week. Most guns wear the shock eater shirts with pad. I’m bringing these and setting up my guns with them
I know I’ll be more than good. This product is an amazing gel that reminds me of the old “Stretch Armstrong” muscle man play doll when we were kids. It’s awesome and very absorbent of any induced shocks.

Wow! What a great company to do business with. By accident ordered the wrong item and when I received it contacted the company expecting to get the usual you ordered it deal!!! But instead talked to Jack and was pleasantly surprised by our conversation, not only did he handle my mistake but went over and above with customer service! If product works as well as the president does I will be pleasantly surprised again!!! Thanks again for all your help!

1) Looks MUCH better than any slip-on rubber recoil pad. The shock eater looks professional. 2) Works better than the previously mentioned rubber slip-on. 3) Fits better and does not slid around. 4) Not afraid to leave shock eater on the gun, like I was the rubber.
At first I was concerned as when you compress the pad with your hand, it is slow to return to original shape. I thought a fast second shot might recoil harder. I didn’t notice any difference when shooting.
I also used the vest insert recoil pad. Shot 225 rounds at sporting clays with 20 gauge berreta smurf gun this weekend with shoulder still intact! Can’t wait to try it on my O/U.
I am ordering another one for when girl friend wants to go shooting.

This is my second one. Even if it didn’t work, I would probably leave it on the gun as it looks sharp and professional. Fortunately it really does help slow the felt recoil. What caught my eye was the grounding in solid physics. Will shoot real fast this winter to see if this thing heats up with the energy transfer.

Easy to put on my Maverick 88 and looks like it will last. I use the thickest pad and it works great. It reduces the recoil impact a lot. I recommend this especially for us older folks that love to hunt.

Works as advertised. Customer service is even better. Order on a Saturday morning and had it Tuesday.
Grandson loves it. He was a little hesitant without it and now I have to find more 20ga.

Slipped the pad over my Browning A Bolt 375 H&H Magnum. No problem with fit. I inserted one of the thicker pads inside the sleeve. Length of pull was not altered.
All I can say, is I’m impressed. It really took the sting out of the recoil. After a dozen shots my shoulder felt fine. No need for a muzzle break With the shock eater on the back end.!

Shockingly good for the price! (pun intended)
Ended up using it while a bruise was still healing underneath from the week before. The first 5-10 shots were more painful due to the bruise, but after that I got used to it and it helped a lot. It’s not perfect as just the pad in the end- I will have to experiment with the closed cell foam as well, but I am hopeful that I can reduce my bad bruises to just minor redness.
This is perfect for borrowing equipment where I can’t change out the installed padding. The neoprene sleeve keeps it from sliding around and gives that little bit extra padding as well.
A success!

Have all my firearms set up with these. Absorbs recoil on .308 and 12 gauge. No more bruised shoulders after range day!

I used the slip on shockeater primarily to extend the length of pull (LOP) on my Remington 1100..
Everything worked out great and the reduced recoil is a blessing. This is the second shockeater I have purchased (the first one went in my wild hare vest). They are wonderful in reducing recoil!

Great product looks good stays put. Best way to adjust lop and recoil I have 2 .

Excellent slip on recoil pad. I have several shirts and a cold weather coat from ShockEater but wanted a slip on pad for my 300 Win Mag.
Works great!
