Kids Give Thumbs Up to ShockEater® in Junior Shooters Magazine

Junior Shooters - ShockEaterThe “Junior Gear Guide” in Junior Shooters Magazine is always a great spot to hear honest product feedback from some of the toughest critics – kids. We appreciated the opportunity to hear their thoughts in this summers issue (Volume 24 / Summer 2016). The ShockEater® Recoil Pad received reviews from two up and coming sportsmen who have quite a lot of shooting experience considering being only 10 and 13 years old. While the full reviews go into much more detail, their final thoughts make us proud to offer this product and continue our focus on youth creating positive experiences with the shooting sports.

“Even in my youth, I have shot a variety of different types of firearms with and without the ShockEater Recoil Pad. I have noticed a substantial amount of difference when i started using the recoil pad and I will continue using this product in my junior shooters competitions. Thank you ShockEater for the reduction of the recoil while shooting and making it more comfortable to do what I love.” – Brody (10)

“Using this pad made shooting much more enjoyable and helped me last longer before I became sore or tired. I would definitely recommend this pad to others.” – Tyler (13)

ShockEater® debuts in Shooting Industry Magazine

Shooting Industry Magazine features the ShockEater® Recoil Pad and Shooting Shirts in their May issue. Lisa Parsons-Wraith’s popular column entitled “Arms & The Woman” is a go-to resource on trends, issues, and products impacting female shooters. This month Lisa discusses how shotgun sports continue to be a driving force in attracting women to shooting sports as she reviews a number of guns and gear to improve the shooting experience.

In her section on “Recoil Tamers,” Lisa highlights our gear along with compatible shooting vests designed specifically for lady shotgunners.

“ShockEater is a super energy-absorbing visco-polymer material using what the company calls Nano-Poly technology. Basically, the material stays soft and viscous until the shotgun impacts it. Then, the material bonds long enough to protect the shooter from recoil, and afterwards the bonds release and it turns viscous again. It’s amazing science and the result is a thin pad that doesn’t affect length of pull, yet lessens felt recoil. Because the pad constantly reshapes, it can be used with a variety of guns.”
