The ShockEater® Recoil Pad is the latest advancement in energy absorption and recoil dispersion. It keeps you shooting longer, while increasing accuracy, comfort, and consistency with your long guns.
Made with proprietary Nano-Poly™ technology, the ShockEater Recoil Pad is designed to reduce peak felt recoil without increasing length of pull or altering appearance. At only 8 mm thick and 1.4 ounces in weight, it provides superior shock absorption in a form that is lighter and thinner than any foam or gel can provide.
The ShockEater Recoil Pad is conformal to the shoulder area, supporting proper gun fit and improving pitch and toe angles at the butt-stock. This combination of unique fit and absorption properties allow for maximum comfort and reduced felt recoil. More comfort, less pain means hitting your target with greater consistency. The ShockEater Recoil Pad is compatible with many of the leading shooting vests and shirts, making it the optimal accessory for a variety of shooters from first timers to seasoned veterans.
Note: Not designed for Beretta, Eddie Bauer, or Orvis vests. Pad can be used with these brands, but must be secured or pinned within pocket as garments from these brands have oversized pockets.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To install, simply insert the ShockEater Recoil Pad into the shooting pad pocket on the inside of your vest, shirt, or jacket with the flat side against your body. The ShockEater® logo should be on the bottom and facing out. You are now ready to “Eat the Kick” and shoot more comfortably than ever before. Remove the recoil pad from the garment before dry cleaning or laundering.

Used it shooting clays and after 75 twelve gauge rounds down the barrel my shoulder was fresh and reading to do it all again, while my buddy who shot without protection couldn't/wouldn't shoot anymore...I'd recommend it highly and won't go shooting without it!

I purchased this pad to help lessen the felt recoil from my 45-70 rifle. The first time I used it at the rifle range, I could not believe the difference it made in reducing the effects of the recoil from shooting my rifle, which has a brass buttplate. My first time at the range without the ShockEater, I could only manage to fire 30 rounds before I had to stop due to the bruising in my shoulder. Once I received the pad, I was able to comfortably put 50 rounds down range with no discomfort. A truly wonderful product.

I've just tested this with my .470NE rifle. It really performs as stated. I will be using this on my upcoming safari and likely every time I shoot my double rifle.

Used it this weekend at a NBRSA VFS match. The ShockEater pad was great. Also shot 50 rds of 284 Win while fire-forming new brass and the ShockEater pad was a very welcome addition. Stayed in place and noticed a significant reduction in felt recoil. Will buy more for sure
