HOW TO MEASURE SIZE

  • Use a soft tape measure to take the measurements shown on the model.
  • To measure your chest, run the measuring tape around your shoulder blades, underneath your armpits and across the fullest part of your chest.

    Ordered a Wild Hare Heatwave Mesh Vest, Navy/Silver as pictured above. Mine is left handed. Absolutely love the small breast pocket. Great place to put my shoot card between clay stations. The double front pockets are large enough for 50 shells on either side and not so deep that I can't reach bottom without contorting myself. The side straps are easily adjusted while wearing the vest. The rear pouch is large and easy to access while shooting to place hulls. I keep my Mojo magnetic for cleaning up the shooting fields of spent shells in the pouch. Easy reach and retrieve. The sizing runs just a bit large, but not so large as to be a problem. I'm ordering another. Recommended.

    Ordered Wild Hare Heatwave Mesh Vest, Navy / Silver, which arrived promptly as the tracking notices reported. The material is good quality. Minor hickup until I noticed the recoil pad has to be worked into its pocket from the side of the pocket. The vest is cool with its side and back webbing, and the adjusting straps work great. I will recommend this product to other shooters.

    This is my first Wild Hare shooting vest. I love the way it fits and am very impressed with its quality construction. This is a solid vest that should last for many years. I paid more for this than I wanted to, but now know it was worth every penny. Great value for the money. I highly recommend and also love the Shockeater recoil pad that I added.

    Excellent fit and support. Jack was right on top of everything. The adjustable tabs on the side/back make for a snug fit based on your undergarment; nice touch for layering on cool days. Always look to ShockEater's first.

    As many items since the pandemic started last year, it took longer than normal to get my new Wild Hare vest. The communication from ShockEater was fantastic letting me know about the delay and offered other choices. I chose to wait and very glad I did as the vest looks and fits great!

    Excellent vest and true to size. Plenty of room in pockets and main pockets have a snap to increase storage. Padding is pocketed for installation of a shock pad. Well made and would recommend without reservation.
